Rental Car and Environment

With the environment such a hot topic all over the world, especially in the transport industry, and there are companies that build new technology-friendly environment. Hybrid cars than ever, and diesel fuel are increasingly becoming more efficient vehicles available to drivers of regular cars. I was working in the travel company for companies and many large companies and requesting the inclusion of hybrid cars in their contracts. This was more to do with increased business opportunities through seen to be green instead of wanting to be green!

The question that arises when people travel and want to maintain a commitment to the cause green. And car rental companies have is to provide these cars ... Or will they?

OLED (for the traveler to Australia), the major car companies that you can 'green cars' with a book. Action for the Holidays DriveAway here in Australia, the most common request is for diesel cars. And control in this out of concerns the cost and also environmental concern sometimes. (Should not the opposite of that?)

First off the rank of Avis Rent A Car.

In Australia, the car group L gives you the Toyota hybrid. This car is the favorite car rental companies because of being built by Toyota.

In the UK, does not seem to be any green cars, and although there may be a diesel-run cars in the fleet, Avis does not make it easy to find.

In the United States, like Australia, and Toyota Hybrid
Under the group XG is available.

The second rank of taxis and Hertz rental.

In Australia, such as Avis, and the hybrid Toyota is the vehicle of choice. Book Group G and you'll get this car.

In the United Kingdom, and Hertz has a range of diesel fuel-efficient fleet, but not hybrids. This seems to be a common factor in the UK. Being a migrant, I know that the prices of Toyota cars in the UK reasonably inexpensive compared to other European-manufactured cars

In the United States, Hertz and a group of hybrids, although on some cars, and I can not know whether they are hybrid or not.

Now, all credit to Hertz as they promote their cars as part of the green fleet green of their own. Avis does not seem that the market for green cars in any way, which is a shame.

Ranked third in the taxi and car rental Europcar.

Again, in contrast to Hertz, they do not appear to enhance its fleet of green. Looking at their guide Fleet Australia, they have a regular passenger cars, such as small, medium and large, prestige, minivans, sport, 4WD. Europcar car list as part of a fleet of green there are regular, however, it would be that the unique identifier (IHAR) in Australia.
